The CIVCO AccuCARE line of equipment presents a variety of transperineal solutions aimed at the detection, selection and treatment of prostate cancer, including: stepper motors or steppers, stabilizers and supports for their storage. Whether it is brachytherapy, cryotherapy, placement of fiducial markers, saturation biopsies, directed biopsies or volumetric studies, we have the right solution. All positioning options provide users with a guarantee of reproducibility, and a coupling to the precise endocavitary probe. In addition, the stabilizers provide a multidirectional step-by-step basis, with mounting configurations that allow quick coupling to most types of surgical tables and suitable for any type of procedure. AccuCARE disposables as the endocavity baloon, the template or grids and drapes complement the necessary solutions to perform transperineal ultrasound guided procedures.
We have high precision solutions for easy and fast reproducibility of the position of patients in treatments of SBRT, SRS, head and neck (H&N) and shoulders. Due to the 100% radio-translucent manufacturing materials (carbon fiber and polyurethane with vinyl coating) and their ergonomic properties, CDR positioning systems as well maximize patient comfort. Some of our solutions such as the Freedom system for SBRT / SRS or SaBella Flex for breast and chest have been developed ad hoc in collaboration with the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, adapting to the highest standards of excellence and your treatment needs stereotactic and hypofractionated.
Patient immobilization is critical in routine hospital procedures such as radiodiagnosis or radiotherapy treatments. We have state-of-the-art solutions that fit the needs of patients for easy and quick setup, and optimal immobilization during the session. Vacuum Lock mattresses and vacuum pumps, Freedom abdominal pneumatic belts, Instaform instant foam, similar to alpha cribs, thermoplastic masks and sheets are some of our solutions.
The immobilization with thermoplastic materials is vastly extended in treatments focused on head and neck (H&N). We have a wide range of thermoplastics that fit your needs: head, head and neck masks (U-Type and S-Type), shoulders; thickness 2.4mm, 3.2mm; Type-BL masks compatible with the BrainLab radiosurgery immobilization system, thermoplastic sheets for SBRT, solid and perforated, etc. Furthermore, we have solutions for heating thermoplastics (water bath and digital oven).
Bolus is a material with equivalent density to human tissue, ideal for radiation treatments close to the skin where radiation is not deposited properly without a material that compensates for the area of accumulation or “build up”. We have multiple configurations to meet your needs: Hydrogel bolus with or without polyethylene film of different dimensions and thicknesses; bolus pellets that, once molded, can be used in areas of difficult treatment. Consult with our specialists.
Fiducial markers are benchmarks that, once implanted in the patient through a needle, facilitate the subsequent location of previously identified tumor areas. We supply all types of pre-surgical and post-surgical fiducial markers. We have an extensive range with different materials (gold, polymer, titanium, etc.) and configurations (fiducial size, needle preloaded, loose, fixed distance, special ones such as FlexiMarc G/T, FusionCoil, PointCoil, FlexiCoil, etc. Consult with our specialist what is the fiducial that best fits your image system and organ to be treated.
The endorectal immobilization probe RectalPro75 is the optimal solution for immobilization of the prostate gland in external radiotherapy treatments, as well as obtaining a patient position and the organ to radiate easily reproducible. It allows an increase in the dose emitted to the prostate, as well as a considerable reduction in ano-rectal toxicity, thus obtaining a significantly more efficient treatment and enabling hypofractionated prostate therapies. Rigorous clinical studies validate these data. Consult with our specialist.
