Bolus is a material with equivalent density to human tissue, ideal for radiation treatments close to the skin where radiation is not deposited properly without a material that compensates for the area of accumulation or “build up”. We have multiple configurations to meet your needs: Hydrogel bolus with or without polyethylene film of different dimensions and thicknesses; bolus pellets that, once molded, can be used in areas of difficult treatment.
